About

Grape Vines
About ten years ago I went to the wine country in California’s Alexander Valley, for the first time, and fell in love with vineyards and wineries. I will never forget that trip. The aroma in the air the first time I opened my car door at the vineyard, it was so intoxicating, the grapevines with their bounty and the friendliness of the vineyard owners and employees, will stay with me forever. Being a photographer I planned for this vacation, packed my trusted camera, flash, a couple of lenses, tripod and what I thought was enough film to last the week. Well needless to say I had to stop off and buy additional rolls of film before the week was up.
Before I arrived home I was already thinking about my next trip to “wine country”. I started searching on line to learn more about wine, wineries and vineyards. It was time consuming I was clicking here and going there and trying to remember where I had found information that I was looking for. I couldn’t find one site where I could find a well rounded amount of information on wine, wineries and vineyards, which planted the seed for Wine Lovers Travel Guide, ONE CORK at a Time.
Wine Lovers Travel Guide will grow with each and every harvest and expand ONE CORK at a time. Check back often to see our cellar of information.
